Arrow Turning the air/heat on. Help

I know this is mainly a diesel site, but I figured a problem like this could be solved by any mechanic. My girl has a 1995 Grand Marquee and when she turns the air/heat on it only works on high and sounds like something wants to come apart. LIke a really bad hum that has got worse. I've changed the switch and nothing changed. Any info would be great!

Follow the harness back from the blower motor... first thing you come to should be the resistor module.
