That is an awesome build and great pics. Funny thing is i have been looking around some cummins swap site recently getting ideas for a similar build. I havent decided it i want a 4bt in a 77-79 f150 or a 5.9 in a 77-79 f250? This is great info tho keep it coming!

the 4bt will be a great amount of power for the truck. i did a 6bt because im making a high horsepower highway monster.

My only concern is i want to be able to tow with it, however there are guys on some of the forums towing boats and other things with theirs so i guess it would be ok. Another thing is i know where i can find a 5.9 and i think a 4bt would be harder to find and probably more expensive.

I say IMO just do what u get the best deal on that comes around. there both great motors. and its not like you cant always put aftermarket stuff on them if there lacking power.
