The Raptor's New Shoes

Well it didn't take long before I saw a couple other Raptors running around town, so I decided to do something about it. The Raptor Baja truck or Raptor R runs the KMC Enduros so I decided mine should too

, when I first ordered them, they were a machined finished and I wasn't too crazy about it. I decided to powder coat the bead ring the same color as the truck

Then after we mounted them on the tires I was stoked........then we mounted them on the truck............. I hated the way the silver took away from the truck

, so much so I didn't even take pics. My buddy and my girl told me to sleep on it and look at them again in the morning, well by then I came up with an idea......... paint the wheels! They look WAY better

looks good, i agree the chrome wouldnt of looked right...

Yeah I was really frustrated after the pain in the azz install of the tires on them, took close to 2 and half hours. But I was tired and just wanted to shower and go to bed. I woke up the next morning and saw I got my new Offroad Magazine and saw some other wheels that were painted and the light bulb turned on
