Buddy has an 82' 250 with 351w.

Well theres no denying this thing is a boat. It's big, loud, slow, and not powerful.

What are some simple, cheap, or DIY things we can do to it to add a little bit more power to it? I'm not too familiar with older engines and carburetors and all that.

not much really , turn the injection pump up on it , and open the exhaust up some to start with

if you google search turning up the pump it give directions on how to, you just dont want to go to much

It's a 351W. I say more fuel and more air and headers.
