Wife wants this truck

Its only $800 and the add says it runs and drives. She wants to restore it and I think it would be kinda a cool truck!

Any thoughts?

I am going to go drive it and see how bad we want it first. My wife says to me "would you leave the 300 6 in it or would you swap engines" and my eyes got really big! I think the 460 out of the '97 might go nice in there!

Is it a 1958 , nice, i would restore that. I would also like a 49. Drop a 289 or a 302 in that thing.

If I was going to go diesel it would either be one of the Cummins or something in V lineup from Detroit!

Now your talkin. This could help you "budget" the cummins in the 97 if you put the 460 in "her" truck!
