Job hunting kinda little help

Howdy Florida chapter have a question for you do any of you know any jobs down there for someone who has a IT background but wants to use his clearance as well. Was in the military and got out last year and been working up here so have been doing some browsing for jobs down there seen a few but nothing really what I am looking for. Right now in Maryland but have been thinking about moving back home to Florida I am from the Tampa area so miss seeing the family and friends down there. So basically the area I am looking for is Tampa/Lakeland and maybe the Orlando area. Any help would be much appreciated sometimes finding the right job can sometimes help with who you know.

I can't think of anything right off the top of my head. I will keep my ear to the ground and see what I hear.

I am currently a Network Admin in Orlando, but I am trying to start a totally unrelated business so I don't hear much in the world of IT any more.

However, my bother in law is the UNIX admin for the city of St. Pete. I will talk to him tonight and see if the city might have openings.

You could also try to see if Nielson Ratings in Tamps is still hiring. How about Disney? I know they have a super huge IT department. There are tons of industries here that could use an IT fella like yourself.

Thanks for any help just been thinking about heading back home miss the florida weather and etc. never thought about looking into Disney might look into that too but would like to use the clearance if I can.

For that you might have to look into law enforcement or some of the defense contractors we have around here. Lockheed, Raytheon, or places of the sort.

Yea been hearing about all the lay offs going on around the nation not looking good at all for the economy.

sure find me 80ft + yacht to paint and i'll be happy lol , but for right now im doing ok not making alot of money but just enough to get by
