Anyone going to Daytona next weekend for the race I got 4 free tickets to the truck race I am debating going to the gatoraide duel or not b/c I heard the 500 is already sold out just wanted to see if any other PSers are going

I will be there!! Can't wait. My wife and I are going to the truck, Busch, and the Cup Race! WAY EXCITED!! She also got us passes for Track Days or something like that.

I don't know what track days are but they have a fan zone in the middle that is cool to go to if you don't have tickets to that u should look into it

Yeah that's it! I don't know why I can't remember the name! Sounds like a blast! This week can't go by quick enough.

We'll be flying in. My wife's company is out of St. Mary's but she works from home. We are staying with a friend of hers. Her husband is an EMS tech at the Speedway and they have had season tickets for 15 or so years. Anyways, we'll be staying at the track Friday & Saturday night for sure. Don't know about Thursday and Sunday night.

well things are looking up looks like I may have tickets to the bush race now also (or what ever they are calling it now)

so Mike how was the trip I only ended up going to the Nationwide race not the truck could not find somewhere to stay anywhere near Daytona so decided just to go to the nationwide race it was pretty good

It was a BLAST!!! The truck race was probably the most exciting. Those guys really duke it out and it was fun to watch. The Nationwide (formally Busch) and the Cup races were good but they all seemed toO cautious. Anyway we had a great time. I would highly recommend getting Fan Zone tickets. The garage windows were packed but if you went to the inspection station you got within 6 feet of the cars. Also recommend getting at least a scanner. We got the Sprint FanView. Its a scanner plus you can pull up stats and different in-car cameras. Anyways, can't wait to do it again. My wife is hooked and is talking about going to Talledega next year... Woohoo!!
