I'm a good swimmer and diver, not anything like a coast guard I'm sure, but I use to go scuba diving out in the keys all the time, so that would be no issue for me. I know the coast guard is a hard branch to get into, a buddy of mine was turned away because of his driving record or something stupid like that.

I'm just more intrested in becomming a commercial fisherman, it's great money, especially if you're a seasonal guy, and a seasonal guy back home at a cake job, you could pull 65k+/yr
