fishing trip pics!!
I just got back from my trip to the Rainy river/Lake of the Woods.
It is the border river between minnesota and Canada. Here are a couple pics of the bigger ones we got. Most of these are 54-57 inch fish or about 32-38lbs.We had guys still ice fishing and snowmobiling 100yds away from us. They still had to use auger extensions to get thru over 3ft of ice. I don't think you can mil these fish for their eggs up here. You'd be in the clink if you got caught. They probably come from the western US river sturgeon. That would be my guess.
