Ice fishing in South Carolina!

Not! I would like to try it one day. I saw it on T.V. where they drop little underwater cameras in the hole to see the fish. Is this how U guys do it?

Teameye, I'm with you. Saltwater only. Billfish for fun, yellowfin ahi, ling, wahoo for sashimi on the boat. The bays of the lower third coast are good for reds for fun, trout, black, and flounder for the table.

Just got in from 4 days on the Gulf. Came in to refuel on Friday night. No billfish, but Red Snapper, Amberjack, Ling, Wahoo, and traded some shrimpers 35 pounds of fresh Shrimp for a case of Bud Light.

My addiction is Crappie fishing in the oxbows around Little Rock, Ark. from September until March/April depends when they quit spawning. Bass fishing all year long if the Crappies ain't cooperating and pretty much anything else that pulls the string. Nothing better than a big iron skillet or deep fryer full of flaky fillets and hush puppies. I also like to hit Greers Ferry Lake when the smallmouth start spawning. My favorite pole is a 4 1/2 foot ultra lite spinning rod with 4 lb. test line with best catch of a 10.5 lb. blue cat on a crappie jig--what a hoot.

Since I'm here and not there, if one of you guys in this area needs an extra rod in the boat I can pretty much hold my own fishing for about anything freshwater--HINT HINT!!!
