He was after catfish, tons of good size Blues and Channel cat in the pond along with hand sized brim and perch.
He caught it on the bottom with a night crawler.

When my son was 5 he caught his first fish when he was with my friend.
It was a sunfish. I didnt get to see it so I asked him "how big was it ?"
With a perfect straight face, he indicated with his hands that it was about 18 inches long !!!

Do you have any pics of this bent hook????
