These guys need to lose their boat

Here is a little back story. The point where the ran aground is still fairly well lit from city lights. You really have to want to run the boat aground to do it there. If they would have been up in the canyon I could understand. But there the only explanation is

Ha I just read that on KLEW.
And you should hear the stories of people who go up river thinking they can run the Snake or Salmon, but they sure as hell can't.

Nope they need us locals to do that. But damn the river is wide there. I am confused how they even did that.
