I'm going Halibut fishing in Ketchikan on the 10th of August!

I cant look at the FB site either but I know you had fun.

I've done three Halibut charters over the last several years and always had a great time. We would leave out of Valdez, go to the glacier to fill the ice hold and then motor out to the islands to spend the night and salmon fish. Next day we would head out off shore for halibut - repeat next day and then come back for a final night onshore at a little FLoat / fly in community (about 60 people) where we stayed at a cabin the captain owned. Head back to port the next morning.

I went Halibut Fishing at Prince Of Whales Island by Ketchikan 3 yrs ago...

Caught a 65lb Halibut my first time.

For the record, we didn't catch any Halibut . All we caught were back aches from bouncing that huge weight off the ocean floor at 300 ft
