FCDP Ranger Build up 2009/2010

Well, This is just kind of a teaser post, the other Adam has been working on this project and is handling most everything, he is having the frame a all the suspension work done by a guy that races Nastrucks..so it gotten all new frame rails, and it will have a 4 link rear suspension and a custom front end.

Its not gonna be a fully built motor like deranged, just some basic bolt on, upfront..we are looking for some good number just becuase of the weight..we are looking at 3000lbs with the driver..so it should haul, according to the calculator.

here are some pictures.

from 5/30/09

here is a little update on the progress of the race truck. Fiberglass front clip, fuel cell, radiator and other misc. parts have arrived. The frame is still being worked on, the motor was installed for mock up aswell as the seat, the rear end is almost done and should be shipping soon. Also for our turbo setup pretty sure we are gonna try and use a 6.4 intake manifold..here are some pictures:

rear end from winters racing:

i'm expecting to have a rolling chassis in the next couple of weeks. then the fun begins. all the wiring. and by the way the intake and engine parts will be that purple color, the same color of the intake we had a TS. we just bought a massive car hauler so next year at TS we will be there in style. its a freight liner with a stacker 43' trailer. my goal is to have it done for next TS. hopefully they will have it next year.
update from 7-15-09

looking for some sponsors too..

let us know what you think!

The racing end of diesel world is overrun with cummins and duramaxes, we wanted to stick ford..who knows how it will turn out, we are staying stock first, then gonna spray it, then addmore fuel and air..
