Ain't that the truth. with the light weight you're shooting for, that thing should haul ballz :burnout

A little update..

Spindles are on, but needs modifications.. Rear end is together and installed internals it has 40 spline Moser axles and 3rd member and aerospace cross drilled rotors and calipers.. Also the rear fender skins are tack welded in place.

Really hoping to at least have a rolling chassis for the NHRDA event at the end of the month.

rear tires are for mockup only. alittle sneak peak at the drags on the 29th. i hope to have it rolling by then and all the body panels on. the engine is at the machine shop now. just getting freshened up. not sure if i will have it in by then or not.

its rolling..here are a couple new pictures.

got word this afternoon that the fiberglass front clip inst gonna stay, its just not gonna look right, its about 8" wider then the rest of the truck and its gonna take major modification to make it work and even then we wont know how it will look, so, now we decide what year front clip to use...

here is how we gained a bit more ground clearance and to get the motor lower, so we can try to get away with no cowl hood..

3” shorter than stock to help with ground clearance, and going to probably run an remote mounted oil reservoir to help with the volume of oil, or lack there of….

the motor is is...

Wow that looks like such a fun project. Wish I was there just to check it out. Where did you ever find the custom oil pan?
