Gun show deals

Has anyone been to any gun shows lately and gotten some great deals on stuff? I was just wondering if they are still offering good deals or if their prices have skyrocketed like at retail stores. One of my customers said he was at one in the Des Moines area and his buddy got some russian rifle with 500 rounds of ammo for $120 for everything. He paid $60 for the gun and $60 for the ammo. I would buy lots more guns if i could get em for $60 bucks.

Wanamakers back in April was 500,000 sq ft of standing room only. High prices and huge crowds are making the gun shows in Tulsa not worth the trouble.

I went to a fairly big gun show on Saturday, those guys were trying to rob you blind with no lube. I could go buy a new gun at a big retailer for what they wanted for a used one.

That is the TRUTH.....gun shows were like swap meets, now they are like premium stores on portable tables.

I guess it depends on what kind of gun you are looking for. It is a shame that the popular ones are so dang expensive. I know the 22 pistols have gotten so high in price that it doesn't even make sense to buy them anymore. The only good thing about them is the ammo is cheap.
