Robinson XCR..anyone else have problems?

Well I ordered my rifle from them in Oct and have yet to get it. I have emailed them twice and called 3 times. I got one return phone call but I missed it and haven't gotten another response. I know they are crazy busy but dang, this is ridiculous. Anyone else bought one of these and had any problems?

You will likely be waiting longer. I suggest trying to pick up a sig 556 if you can find one. My contacts in the business say EVERYTHING is clogged up until NOVEMBER! Maybe even into 2010!

If that is not your only MBR PM me and lets see if we can get you something while you are waiting. XCRs are fine weapons. I saw the prototypes at their first public appearance at Knob Creek in 2004(?).

I like the Sig but I just have my heart set on the XCR. Picking between the two is like trying to decide between 2 nice superduties. When I talked to the girl that answers the phones and told her what my issue was she acted surprised that I haven't gotten it yet. I'm still waiting to talk to the service manager or whatever her title is. Seems like only women work there

Not a bad thing. Statistically women are better at assembling precision instruments. A woman runs CMMG. I met her at a KCMO gun show while up there for Xmas. She is very attractive. Hard to make eye contact with the top she was wearing, that was nicely displaying her "enhanced" parts.

She sounds like a keeper

I've been thinking of asking for a job there. They obviously need help and that would be a pretty sweet job. Building guns with (potentially) hot girls all day. Doesn't get much better than that

Finally got a hold of them. She apologized and said that they lost some of their website orders somehow and gave me a good discount So now I've been kicked up to the front and my rifle will be on the way shortly
