Another 9MM,40sw or 45acp

So i'm in the market for a handgun and when to the local cabelas and testest the glock 27 and the xd sub-compact. The xd felt better in my hand but that also had the xtended mag in it and the glock just felt way to small like my pinkey finger wasn't even on the gun. So I needa know what cal. to get and throw out some good handguns that u can shoot at the range and concel and carry and i don't have the money for a kimber so keep it under 800-900...

I carry the G27 everyday. I am a pretty big guy with big hands. I use a pearce mag extension for when I carry. You can also add some length by getting a G23 or G22 mag and getting the sleeve over it. It just drops over the mag, and fill the space between the butt plate and the bottom of the grip. I would not shy away from the G27 just yet.

I am a little biased

I think if i get a glock it may be the 30, the xd only comes in 9 or 40. Want something that feels good at the range to shoot 2. What does a new glock come with like xd comes with 2 mags and some other stuff...

The 30s are Fat. If you can find a 30sf, I would go with that. The other great part about the 27 is that you can get a OEM .357 barrel and shoot .357. You can also get a barrel and mags for the 26, and shoot 9mm.

I carry the G27 also with the Pearce mag extension. My hand fits great. The extension i have allows 1 more in the stick so with 1 in the pipe i have a total of 11 rounds.

You should look into that. Here in Pa we can open carry as long as we're on foot.

I have a 23 also. It is nice when you are at the range. You can shoot the 23 and then shoot the 27 with the same mags. Another bonus.
