Me, my brother, dad, & step brother all have one & love them. We shoot the cheap Federal ammo through ours. Sometimes we go through 1,000 rounds in a day just plinking. You get the 5" barrel or the 3"? All of us have the 5 inchers. You'll enjoy it just keep them clean and you shouldn't have too any problems.

I liked it so much I bought a P99 as well.

I got the 3" but the end of the barrel is threaded and I got an attachment for the end of it and think I can add an extention. How many rounds total have you fired through yours. Whats the best cleaning regiment for these pistol. Ill run a bore snake through it every time I take it out but how often do you a total cleaning of the pistol.

The difference between the 3" & 5" is the barrels, the support rod that goes over the barrel, and the 5" has a fake muzzle brake. I tear it down once or twice per 550 round box of shells and give it a good scrubbing. I have no idea how many rounds I've shot through it, probably 5,000 or so. There are days when my thumb is black from the bullets and sore from loading the magazine so many times. It takes longer to load a mag than shoot for sure.

I read somewhere if you take a polymer safe solvent you can submerge the pistol in a solvent safe container and after a good soaking remove from solvent and blow dry with high pressure air. It may be a good thing for future references.

No picks but here's Walther's web page for the P22. They're imported by Smith&Wesson.

Category - P22

I never thought to look for a polymer safe solvent, I'll keep that in mind.

I had one for a couple days, I didn't like it, because it pinched my trigger finger. the trigger hinge pinches the top of your finger.

.22 pistols are a blast to shoot, plus the ammo is inexpensive.

I bought one of these a while back

I shoot CCI Stingers in mine
