Ammo Suggestion

I suggest you all standardize your calibers to these:

Rifle:.223;.308;.30-06
Pistol: 9mm; .40S&W; .45ACP
Other: 12 Guage and .22LR

This will allow you to buy in bulk at a reduced cost...

Why are you saying this? I mean I do have a 308, 12 gage, and then a 357 Sig. I have about 300 rounds for all of them but. I just did not know what brought it up.

There is chatter out there of ammo shortages similar to what is going on in the AR market. In the times that may come, you do not want to have a .22-250; 7mm-08; .35 Remington and other non-standard calibers due to ammunition availability. Without ammo a gun is just a well-machined club. People should be adding these calibers to their inventory and clearing out some of the odd-balls, unless they can stock up on them. 300rounds might get you through one skirmish...

I spoke to several gun dealers yesterday and they all feel this is a spike in the market due to the current situation and should settle down before long.

However, all of them are in agreement that the way we will be restricted is through taxation on ammo.

Buy now and buy plenty.........300 rnds. in my opinion is the minimum.

If you reload, standardization not a problem. And accuracy will improve significantly. As for 9mm never shot one that would shoot straight more that three rounds at a time.

7.62x39mm is an imported non-standard round. If you have this round in your inventory stockpile NOW.
Why you ask it is not on the list. I can answer that quite simply - It is not found in any squad car or military base in CONUS. If I were living in the middle east, africa, or other third wold nations, heck yeah the first thing I would do is find me an AK.

It is what is on my secondary list:

Rifle: 7.62x39mm; .270
Pistol: .357 Magnum; .38 special; .44 magnum
Shotgun: 16 and 20 guage

Yep, or buy a firearm on the primary list and keep those as spares.
