Texas Open Carry Movement

Have you Texans been visiting this site lately?

OpenCarry.org - A Right Unexercised is a Right Lost!

Things are heating up on pushing for legislation authorizing open carry.

Hard to believe we can't open carry here but Arizona can. I have my concealed license and it would be nice if I didn't have to worry about it sticking out of my shirts and getting harrassed.

You can in Texas too but they understand certain circumstances and it not being intentional. If I have on a t-shirt or jacket and I bend over at the store, sometimes you can barely see part of it. A lot of people here carry but I had someone say something to a clerk at a grocery store and it was a little bit of a pain that day.

i have mine in PA and had it since i turned 21 and just like in OK we can lose it if we get to many complaints i use a ankle holster most of the year with a 357mag J frame S&W to solve that problem though but it is bs that people can't follow a law with out getting harrassed.

you can open carry in az i prefer to conceal my piece i carry a glock 27. when you open carry you open your self up to certain problems and the majority of public stares and gives you the stink eye for carrying openly. but here in az we pretty much have the most relaxed guns laws and i hope it stays that way.

The point is, the Constitution says you can. So the States shouldn't say
you can't. We need to get that part cleared up, then folks can choose
for themselves whether to go OC, CC, or NC (sheep mode).

Why don't you just OC then?
You realize that is legal here don't you?

Sorry to hear about other states, I hope you get your rights back
