Bear with me on my lack of knowledge here...is the RRA an accessory or a manufacturer of the AR?
Thanks,
Craig

Some AR parts are junk, but anyways Rock River are some GREAT guns with a few upgrades out of the box like gcop said, I also carry a DPMS like ksttac it is a sweet gun too, I changed the forearm grip out on mine to a bushmaster the stock one was too bulky, put on a hogue grip also made a world of difference. Get yourself a better bladed (square) front site whatever you do and for Gods sake buy some good magazines and not some cheap azz ones if you are gonna get more than what it comes with, In my opinion an AR is like out trucks you can do so much stuff to them its all about the green. Oh and at the risk of getting flamed Bushmaster SUCKS!!!!!

Just to thro my 2 cents in, I have 3 bushmasters and 2 DPMS AR's. I have not had a problems with any of them. And the next one I get will be a RRA. Further more, if it was me, I would go with a 6.5 grendel or a 6.8 rather than the .223. More stopping power with good distance. Good Luck in your final choice...

I have a Bushmaster Xm15-E2S (M4 style with 14.5inche barrel with flash supressor). I have shot mabye 500 rounds through it +/- and have not had a single problem. For 800 bucks when I bought it new I can't complain. It is kinda the lower end of the totem pole (just look at the barrel finish compared to the others) but I still love it!

I just saw a show on the military channel about the 6.8 and how it had superior knock down power over the 5.56.

So my follow up question is how much more does this version run and what is ammo going to cost?

Also, thanks for all of the opinions and thoughts about the AR. Big ticket purchase and I want the most "real world" knowledge and experience I can get and you guys have provided it
Craig
