Looking to buy a pistol

Supposedly theres a new law in alabama so i dont have to be 21 to purchase a handgun.

I already have a mossburg shot gun and beautiful AR-15 and looking to now be able to carry.

ive been looking for a reliable 9mm or a .45 but there are so many out there and im stumped on what to get

I carry a Kimber 1911 .45, Springfield XD45, or a Taurus TCP .380. My best recommendation to you would be to see if a gun range near you that has rentals and go shoot. A lot of people like Glocks but to me they don't fit me. Good luck and let us know what ya get.

I have always liked the .40 S&W round. My current Ruger SR40c comes with a carry mag as well as an extended one. The .40 offers more of a punch than the 9mm but is a little easier to handle and carry than a .45. Just my $.02

Firearms are one of my specialties haha.

Do you want a large, medium or small firearm?

One of my favorite and most reliable handguns I own is a Sig Sauer P226 X-Five Tactical that is made in Germany and is a German Military Standard Issue.

It is a 9mm 15rd monster. The only downside to it is the $1600.00 price tag and that it is almost comparable in size to a Desert Eagle.

If you want something more medium or small size nothing is going to beat a Beretta M9 9mm which is USA Standard Issue.

But if you want more kick/damage and for fun nothing will top a Colt M1911 .45.

What will you be using the firearm for?

Sig Sauer P226

The only other pics of my firearms are my shotguns and rifles, otherwise I would post more.

I`ve had or shot about all of `em. I carry a Glock 22 or 35 in .40 caliber on duty in all kinds of conditions, have a personal 22 and a 27. Can't beat a Glock for simplicity, corrosion resistance, reliability, a huge aftermarket for goodies and interchangeable magazines of the same caliber between models. It`s all about personal preference, so hold, holster, and if given the chance shoot alot of different ones before buying. CAREFULLY RESEARCH THE LAW BEFORE YOU BUY OR CARRY A FIREARM. I recommend :: Lee County Sheriff ::, and follow the link to Alabama's "new gun law". There are Federal and State law criteria for purchasing a firearm from an individual or a dealer, transporting the firearm in a vehicle, obtaining a concealed carry permit or the hot topic of "open carry". Remember just because you CAN do something, doesn't always make it a good idea...
