I believe???

In order to buy from an online store you need someone with the Federal license so it can be shipped to them. Unless you are a license holder you cant have a firearm shipped to you.

That is correct - you have to have a gun shipped to a FFL holder - that can be yourself if you have one (FFL). While on that subject - a quick plug for myself - I have a Taurus Raging Bull, 8" ported rifled barrel, all Stainless steel, 44 mag if anyone interested - and yes - must be transported FFL to keep it all legal.

Alan give alpine shooting range a call in Fort Worth texas. Talk to steve and tell him bobby crews sent you. he will make you the best deal around and ship the gun to a local dealer for pick up.

I've shopped around on GunsAmerica.com and Gunbroker.com but I've never seen any "good" deals. As far as shipping them goes, you're correct they have to ship to an FFL. Tony (gcop) has his license.
I got a heck of a deal on an AR-15 pistol a few years ago and can't for the life of me remember the site. Guess I'll pull up the bill of sale when I get home.

Yeah but you pay tax buying from in state - that is a major drawback about buying online from someplace in Texas.

My dad has bought quite a few guns from gun broker.com. I think by far that would be one of your better sites.

Alan... check out Whittaker Guns

They are in Kentucky... so that gets you around the tax thing, they will ship to any FFL licensee, and they've got killer prices.
