yildiz guns?

I'm not very educated on guns in general. I know you can't go wrong with a Remington or a Winchester. I was with a buddy in Academy Sports and he was showing me an Ar15 rifle he had built. Beside his display gun was an over/under 12 gauge for $528 on clearance. The gun had a great look with a black main part but the barrel was a bright finished steel[not chromed or anything]. The stocks were dark colored and reminded me of the rough cut wood you used to see out of the old saw mills. Anyway, it got me wanting the thing even though I don't hunt or really need it. Here's the link to a similar gun if not the same one. I really want to know how good of a gun these are and if it's worth buying. I believe Academy is getting rid of them and going to quit carrying them as they are the only dealer[so they said].If you know anything good or bad please tell me. A few friends have said to avoid it since they aren't a popular brand. YILDIZ OVER-UNDER SPECIAL SHOTGUN

It is a blackhawk serpa holster with the paddle cut off and I got creative with a rail section and an old pos speed loader that holds mags well. Gun is a glock 17, knife is a cold steel recon one!

Attached with 1/2" screws.
