Got my Judge

Picked up my Taurus Judge yesterday. It's the stainless, 3" barrel in 3" Mag. Haven't shot it yet but I have to give them an A+ for quality. I bought it as a snake gun, I've got plenty of carry and killing weapons that will do a better job at protection. All in all though I'd hate to be on the receiving end of this thing at close range.
Does anyone know if they make a light noise .410 shot shell? I've a feral cat living out back I need to remove. Don't want to PO the neighbors too bad by touching off the Judge. Guess I could use a 22 CB on his azz but he has to go.

sweet gun Alan, i don't believe you'll find a low noise load in a .410 though.
They have little velocity as is and if you load it down much at all, you will not have much punch to it at all.
22 CB or .177 air rifle

Great piece. That's the handgun my son chose for his 21st birthday. We went SS 4" but he didn't want the 3" magnum. Sweet shooting piece. One day I won't have two kids in school and can afford to buy guns again for myself. Or maybe the lottery will come in.

I waited a long time for the 3" mag to come available and down in price. THins thing is neat as can be.

You're right Clay - I'll use the 22 CB on the thing.

Those frigging 410 handgun loads are expensive. They must be very proud.

I had a moron at the Wallyworld in College station tell me that they can no longer sell 410's to anyone under 21 because they fit a pistol. I had to ask him about all the rifle rounds that could be shot in a T/C and he had no response.

Thanks guys it should be a lot of fun to shoot. I'll carry it next time we shoot skeet at the farm to mess with everyone. Hell I can't hit 'em with 12GA Red Label maybe the massive patter this thing must throw will hit something.
