SHTF plan?

I was having a discussion with my wife today about one of our friends. He is a hardcore survivalist and has TONS of stuff stocked up incase the SHTF. I have a few guns and im not anti gun or anti survivalist but I dont have anything stocked up incase the SHTF other then a bunch of ammo. I brought up that he has gas masks and stuff and she said well I guess better safe then sorry. So I was wondering how many guys on here are ready incase things get wild.

You guys are crazy. The government will come help us.

I'm concerned about my little tobacco issue. I've got tobacco seeds but figure I'll quit before it's grown. It will be my barter.
