T/C Venture
I was wondering if any of you owns or has shot a Thompson Center Venture. They seem likea good gun for the money. The cheapest I have fund is about $450 brand new. They are guaranteed to shoot 1" groups at 100 yds.
If you have one let me know how you like it. Any info would be nice. Mossberg has a line of centerfire rifles out now too. Anybody been around one of these? Also checking out Marlin's centerfires. I would like to get an elk gun before next year so I can go to Colorado. Dont want to spend a lot of money when I can get a perfectly suitable gun at a reasonable price. Thanks |

Cool! Thanks for the info. I have just about deided that is the oneI want. Haven't made up my mind as to what caliber yet. Leaning towards 30-06. I want something for elk hunting and some deer hunting. I want distance and knock-down power without a lot of recoil.
