The Glock 18, just like the Beretta 92R, and MANY others, are perfectly legal to own as long as your state doesn't prohibit it AND it's federally registered (just like machineguns, silencers, sawed-offs, and destructive devices) In this case, the gun was a converted 17 as the title says, and whoever attached the front grip onto it did a poor job. As the gun was running the shooters hand ended-up in front of the muzzle because that grip broke off and he was relying on it to fight the "push back". He seemed unfamiliar with machine pistols and I'm not sure he could be blamed for shooting himself when, had the grip stayed on like it should, it would not have happened.... I've shot 18's & 93R's one-handed without a problem. |
