Oh the beautiful black rifles! And some with green and tan. You all keep em cleaned and maintenanced! Also, take some advice and get 10-20 mags stored up along with 1,500 (3,000 if you can) rounds of ammo.

Just finished building a 6.8. Went with the 6.8 Xtreme upper (custom job, limited build), Rock River lower with custom tuned trigger, EoTech halo sight. It's a hog killer for sure.

Got an old Colt SP1 my dad gave me for my 18th birthday back in 1978. Was he a great dad, or what? Still works well.

Only change I made was to put a shorty flash hider on it, directs all the sound forward. You can shoot it without earplugs, and it doesn't pop your ears.

Well, I did have a M16 hammer in it for a while. With fresh ammo and a matchstick under the hook, it would really rock and roll. Took that out when the sherriff sent word through a friend to knock off the funny business or he'd have to come talk to me. I guess it was kinda loud.

I got an old 1971 Pre ban SP1......She's still in great shape. Has the Colt scope made for the grabhandle. Shoots great, wish she had fwd assist though
