Got an old Colt SP1 my dad gave me for my 18th birthday back in 1978. Was he a great dad, or what? Still works well. Only change I made was to put a shorty flash hider on it, directs all the sound forward. You can shoot it without earplugs, and it doesn't pop your ears. Well, I did have a M16 hammer in it for a while. With fresh ammo and a matchstick under the hook, it would really rock and roll. Took that out when the sherriff sent word through a friend to knock off the funny business or he'd have to come talk to me. I guess it was kinda loud. |
