4" Judge Shoulder Holster ????

Anyone with a Judge use this rig? I'm getting my son a Judge for his 21st birthday next month, and he thinks he wants a shoulder rig. I think it would be too hot, but whatever. Any suggestions?

I have a JUDGE but no holster yet. Love the pistol. Actually gave it to my wife and I'm gonna get another one. Your son will love it.

I know I already do, but like you, mine's gotta wait. I've searched and found a few that say will fit.......but I was hoping for a perfect molded fit. My old Service Six is my favorite holster gun at the ranch, and the holster fits like a glove. Of course there were only about 20 billion made and used by LEO's for many years so the demand was a little more.

Try this. I think it worked.

Is that specifically for the judge? Looked a little long for mine, but it may work

I don't know. the description is a little vague. Like you, I don't want a one size fits all, But I haven't stumbled on one specifically for a Judge. I went with the SS 4" 2 1/2" chamber.

I've got the blued 4" w/2 1/2" chamber and hammerless for less hangups when drawing out of my vest

I like the hammerless, but my son did not, so.......whatever. basically then, we need the same holster, if they existed.

Alright. Here's the poop on a shoulder holster for a Taurus Judge. Hunter Holsters makes them. They are a combination of a side holster and a harness.

In my case, the story goes like this. Taurus was contracted by Sportsouth to make 4" barrel for the Judge and make it exclusive . There are many distributors for Sportsouth around the country, but that explains why some gun stores that I visited, told me there was no 4" Judge.

After getting an exclusive from Taurus, Sportsouth went a step further and secured an exclusive on 4" holsters for the Judge through Hunter Holsters. The shoulder harness that fits Hunter Holsters looks like a nice rig and may fit any side holster, but is available through the Hunter Holsters website.
