Need SKS help!

Hey guys I'm disassembling my sks, (it's been years) I have the bolt assembly removed but can NOT remember how to take apart the gas assembly. Anybody know?

Hey we don't use these POS rifles at the academy, and it's not that I don't know what I'm doing, it's that I have 50+ guns and I haven't taken this apart for a few years. Thanks though for the moral support!

I didn't know that SKS's were legal in California, every ad I see says they're not.

I bought it here, over the counter. I guess when they become illegal they know where to find it
