My F-450,.........cus size matters! LOL

I have been looking for an ISL common rail Cummins for a couple of years now but no more.

I found one in Jacksonville Fl. and made the trip to pick it up. It.s low mileage engine and has a Allison 3000MH behind it. It came from a early 05 Monaco Diplomat motorhome that burned in the front. I don't know the exact mileage cus the speedo burned but it can't be very much, the paperwork on the insurance claim is dated 10/05.

Anyhow, I got it load and strapped down like a mo-fo and me and the wife have headed south and are in the Fl. Keys,......I promised the wife I'd cool it on the computer so here's a few pic's,........It's the smallest cummins that can be fitted with a real engine compression brake. I'll try and check in tomorrow night.

It will be fun and hopefully a little quieter in the cab. I learned a lot from putting the smaller 5.9 under the the hood, this time the floor interior will come out and some sort of sound deadening stuff will be applied under the mats.
