Plastic to plastic?

I have my daughters Mustang I'm going to sell. I'm trying to fix a few things on the Stang before I do.
One thing is the passenger side controls for window roll down, lock - well it fell in. I need to get the damn thing to fit up again. But it's plastic attaching to plastic.

Superglue doesn't work - what is there to make it adhesive?

Thanks for any advice!

Thanks I'll give it a shot. I've tried a few things and not had any luck. JB Weld, Superglue an epic fail for this - I'm getting tired of scraping crap off that's broken to get a surface to try and mount again.

Thanks again for the replies.

I do a lot of plastic repair.

A couple of things you want to be mindful of is the surface contaminants.
Use some 99% rubbing alcohol to prep the surface, and if you can give it a bit of a scrubbing with some rough sand paper that will help with adhesion.

Once it's all cleaned up, you can plastic weld if there is a mating surface that will allow for it from the back side.
Any old soldering iron will work. I use a cheap $8 40w pencil tip.
You can melt and push/pull the edges of the plastic together.
Start by stitching it together. Just put little detents into the 2 seams of the plastic all around so it sits in place and doesn't move.
Then you can either melt the plastics together some more, add additional plastic that you melt to both of them, or try using a 2 stage epoxy.

I use Permapoxy 1 Minute epoxy and it holds up quite well.
