Converting late 99 bellowed up pipes to e99 model length

i have been looking for bellowed up pipes....the e99 model ones are retarded expensive(800.00!!) compared to the later 99 and up ones....

my thoughts...buy the later model ones and cut them to fit....only question is has anyone ever tried this? think it would be possible with the bends that are in the piping? its not a straight pipe....there are straight parts in the pipe. cut them and fit them? but then i noticed that the e99 pipes have the bellows at the bottom of the up pipes where the later model ones have them at the top...i guess thats due to fittament issues due to the lower turbo position?
