Welding Rig Thread - welders unite!

Im starting this thread in hopes to see other Powerstroke-driving mobile rig welders. I'm a red seal welder in the heart of Alberta where portable rigs are a dime a dozen. It woul be nice to schoot the schit and talk set-ups as I'm looking into building a skid and tool up.

As Pink Floyd would say, "is there anybody...OUT there?"

I'm a red seal welder in the B.C. Peace River area. Here is my rig. Mine's an early '99 with updated headlights. The only mods are 4" turbo-back exhaust, K&N CAI w/Amsoil cone filter, Amsoil bypass oil filter, coolant change to Rotella ELC, and Edge Evolution tuning. 382,000 km. on it now and running strong.

They had a cool truck in the work truck articles ( one of the diesel rags)

the truck ( regular bed, not a flat bed) had a Kelderman air ride and the welding skid had arms He could slide into the rig

lower the bags and drive out from the skid
