Console help

I'm building a overhead console and I consider my self a fairly smart guy but for the life of me I can't seem to figure out how to get the contour of the head liner on the template. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

Use a straight board cut to length and use a compass set at a width that will trace the entire contour onto the board. Cut it out then use it as a template.

This sounds like it would be a good project to keep us all updated on.

You might have to post some pics along the way
