Heres my boat project

I used to fish in this boat with my grandad when I was a kid. It has been covered up in his pasture for ten years, so I decided to pull it out and fix it up and hopefully take him out on it like he used to do for me, before he cant go anymore.This is what it looked like when I drug it out of the pasture. My grandad says the old evinrude ran when he put it up, I really hope I can get it to run. All the wood is rotten. G]4.jpg[/IMG]
This is all after I pulled most of the old carpet and rotten wood out of it. It is 16' long by 6' wide. Lots of clean up to do. Any ideas of maybe what to do with the interior would be cool. I have my own, but Im not real creative.

You might want to throw that away and build one from scratch. Looks like it would be less work.

Nice project. Your granddad is gonna be impressed, looking good so far. I might convert it over to stick steering to get rid of that console for more room.

Here she is pretty much finished rebuilt the carbs right before I headed to the lake to try it out. Ran pretty good. Drove around for about 30 minutes with no problems. Gonna redo the seats but other than that its done.

Here is a Flathead catfish I caught handgrabbing or (noodling) depending on what you call it. It was about 70lbs. Just for a size reference I'm 6'2" about 190lbs. Its the biggest I ever pulled out of a box. There was also a 40lb in the box with it. They are spawning down here right now.
