OL' Blue

So back in 94 my dad bought this truck and drove it for a few hundred thousand miles. I bought it from him and drove it another hundred or so thousand miles while beating the holy hell out of it.

Well I parked it five years ago when I bought my new truck.

Well today she came out of retirement, I am going to use it as a work truck. This will be a build thread soon, but just thought I would post it up cause it felt good to hear itrun again. First of next week will be a flat bed and some over do maintenance.


I missed this ol girl, was fun to drive it down the road again! Alot of memories in the ol girl.

Alright, so after a few months of running all over hell for work, I had a few weeks off and started on it.

Here are a few pics of my progress.

Took off some parts

started sanding

More sanding

Did some priming

Then painted the under side of the hood

put the hood on along with the new door



As of today, I am done with the body work. Plan is saturday is paint day.

It's going well! Just brought it home from paint today. It turned out ok, but I wish I was a little bit better at body work. I will get more pics tomorrow when I start putting it back together!
