Detroit Diesel Guru's
I need the spec's L x W x H x weight of the DD6V52TT. Trying to figure out if one can be shoe horned in to the '42 Ford.
Also does any one know where there are any runny and cheap Detroits in the 6V53 and 4L53 categories. Gotta be turbo charged and I really want Jakes on them. |

Love the 6v53t had them in the tunner loaders i drove in the AF. They always sounded best when the Vclamps would "come loose" allowing the exhaust to open up. Wish I had the coin to shoe horn one into my 79 crew.

They are awesome. The 8V53 sounds so bad @$$ its ridicules but they are next to impossible to find.

I'm not certain the 53s came with jakes. I have a 8v71 in my 75 kenworth....

The 8V71 is another one of my favourites.
