Speedglas 9002x & 9002v

Wondering what the difference is between the two, and what you guys think of these helmets?

Cheers.

The lens is what's different between the two.

Both are adjustable from shade 9 to 13.

9002V has a 91 x 43mm viewing area

9002X has 104 x 54mm viewing area.
The X is for Extra large viewing area.
It also has a solar panel to make the battery last longer, 3M says 3000 hours for the 9002X vs. 2000 hours for the 9002V.

3M Speedglas is a great helmet, I have the 9002X. It's the nicest helmet with the best lens I've used.

The user manual has all the info and is available from their website.

Speedglas makes one of the best hoods around. I use a 9100XX and love it... If your going to spend the $$$, spend a little extra and go with a 9100 series. Head gear is better, along with a better fit, and nicer lens. Just my .02

Everything said below is correct, except the shade is adjustable from 3-13. Has a grind mode with a 3 & 5 shade and welding shades are 9-13.
