Custom Rear Bumper Fab Q's
So i used the search feature and come up with quite a few threads about people "starting" a custom bumper but from what i saw no one really seems to follow thru and those that have actually made their own bumpers like tank's beast for example i havent been able to find a solid write up.
im just looking for any and all info about fabbing your own bumper. do u use cad programs to draw it up if so any free ones i can get? a little background i have minimal welding experience but i do have a welder. im a carpenter by trade so this is kind of a journey into unknown territory for me but im sure i have the skills to do it. ive been wrenchin as hobby since i was 14. im starting with a rear bumper cuz i think itll be easier and a good warm up for a front bumper. so basically if anyone could chime in with info, advice , pics, diagrams, or even write ups for other make/model trucks that i could apply the basic principals to my superduty. btw this is on a 06 regular cab long bed 4x4 f250 i think thats pretty much it. thanks in advance for any responses Chris |
