1970 F250 Build.

We'll I finally found my dream truck and I'm getting back into a Ford. 1970 F250 crewcab, putting in a Cummins 4bt and a M5R2 5 speed tranny. I've been searching for one of these trucks for years and finally got a hold of one.

After about 60 hours of body work.




Old 360 coming out with NP435 4 speed tranny.



New to me Cummins 4bt.





Switching to Hydroboost.



New steering gear. Holy crap this things heavy.





The 327 I had built for her before I decided had to go with the Cummins.




My current Cummins which will be for sale when this is done.

Too heavy for these old Ford suspensions. Not made for 1000# + motors. I don't tow, haul anything, drag race or sled pull, this is my daily driver. I have a 6bt Cummins now and its way more power than I need.

Already tweaked it all 5 ways possible. Pretty simple pump really. Took me all of 2 hours to tune it. Can wait to get her running.

Thanks Shawn, I'm having a blast with it. I can't wait to get home from work everyday and work on it. My wife isn't too excited about it but its better than the bus I built a few years ago that took up a lot more space.
