60 gal air compressor.
i`m currently in the market for a compressor. my needs are mostly around the garage to do small jobs, but in the future will definitely be using a spray gun and possibly a sander.
to run these i will need a min cfm of 10 at 90 psi, so i`m looking at the 60 gal single stage that will fit my budget. so far in a 650 cdn price range I have these choices: Husky 3.7 hp 10.5 cfm at 90 psi Kobalt 3.7hp 11.5 cfm at 90 psi Mastercraft Maximum (for the canuck lads) 3.7 11.5 cfm at 90psi I would love to get a I.R compressor but they are just to costly, and the C.H ones I haven`t had a chance to look at yet, but i heard that they make Husky. any recommendations between these or other suggestions??? thanks in advance. |

I have the Coleman, got it at sam's club. they have a 60 and an 80 gal size. only problem I've ever had was the line from the head to the tank cracked, and that was because I bumped it while moving. I got it, because several friends had them and liked them.
whichever one you get, make sure the head unloads when it shuts off, so it's not fighting pressure when it tries to start back up again. |
