W#hat do you do when you have 3 1 ton or larger PSDs?
Buy another one. The last thread that I posted in the diesel forum got out of hand in just one day of not replying and I wasted everyones time for reading a thread with 6 pages of nothing. SO with that said Do not read this unless you have some watseable time.
OK I have now found what I need to transform my dually into the 4x4 that I have been wanting to do with it for years since I bought it. I have always loved that truck and wanted to keep it but require a 4x4. So I am picking up another 1 ton and swapping stuff around. I will be sure to take pictures of the 4x2 to 4x4 conversions as there is not alot of information on the web about it. I will post up what I have left over for sale when everything is finished or when I get finished with a truck and it is ready for sale. As of right now it is looking like I will for sure sell the 92 Crew cab 4x2 dually IDI 5sp. Then I will have either a 97 F 350 crew cab 4x4 5sp for sale or a 04 F550 crew cab 4x4 cab and chassis for sale depending on how nice the 95 turns out and if I decide I want to make it back into a work truck. Yup will do. As of right now the plan is to pull the newly rebuilt tranny and transfer case out of the 97 that was built about 2K miles ago. That will go into the 95 converting it into a 4x4. Then pull the tranny and trans out of the 92 and put back into the 97 to sell. Then the 4x2 tranny will go back into the 92 to make it sellable as a flat bed one ton dually. The front axle and suspension will come out of the flat and will be installed on the 95 using probably a RSK from Sky Manufacturing. The fabrication part will come into play by the mods I will have to do to change part of the front frame clip as they are not the same. The front spring RSK mount will have to be modified and the frame plated in. Then the 4x2 dually front suspension out of the 95 will go back into the flatbed and will sell it. Wow typing all that out started to get me confused as to what I am putting where! LOL If I can get all that done without my neighbors throwing a fit I'll be golden!

I have 3 7.3 powered trucks and then have 4 more 7.3's and 1 6.0 in the family. Good luck and have fun on the swap. Projects are fun and once you can drive them there even funner. The waiting part sucks. I've had my 95 for a month and have only put 15 miles on it. Busted TTB's and swapped a Dana 60 and just waiting on brake lines.
