makeing a new tip

im trying to make a new 9" tip out of diamond plate. i've seen it done before. i just need to know the easiest way to bend the sheet of metal. i made a jig. it's just not working out right. anyone know a good way??

Are you trying to bend it around a piece of 8 5/8's pipe.

How are you going to swedge it down to the tail pipe size.

well i drew a 9in circle and welded 2in pipe a round it and tried bendin it that way well now a found a pice of 9in pipe that im goin to use as a jig i think and try a bend it around yea its real thin steel
