Rat Rods
this summer a friend and i are possibly opening a speed shop (if we can get people interested in buying rat rods and/or parts) and i am just throwing this out there, but if any of you are interested in having us build you one, i would like you to pm or email me a build list of what exactly you might be interested. we specialize in Ford Model A's but have done quite a few others. there are pics in my gallery of a few of the most recent achievements, not even a small percent of what we have completed over the years. all our stuff is quality built. we use custom in house design 2x4 square tube frames (not c-channel) that are very rigid and strong. i may only be 22 but have 14 years gm v8 engine building experience. we are both very proficient in everything we do on these to include engines, trannys, rear ends, driveline, custom fab, wiring and design. he is a design engineer and has been offered, but turned down employment from Harley Davidson, and has designed some kids toys that have been very popular. if we get enough interest in this we will definately work on gettin this going. as of right now i can not give you definate prices untill i recieve a wishlist and consult with him.
if you are interested in this please PM or email swamp_ratt_87@hotmail.com. as stated above a few pics of most recent builds in my gallery. thanks |

Chuck, thats the great thing about ratts, you build'em cheap. Take available parts and modifiy to work. I've got about 175 bucks in my rod,(I call it a dirt rod as in dirt cheap) and am about running still got alot to do but will have less than a 1000 in it when done. The only reason it'll be that much is the steering and brakes will be all new, those are the only place I won't skimp. Later Whit
