99 7.3 running rough

have 99' 7.3.. Two weeks ago engine shut off while going 70 or so. Shop replaced cps and it worked fine for a week. Now engine runs fine at high rpm but stalls at idle. If I keep foot on gas and brake at stop light it won't stall.. I get no codes at present but did one time get a exhaust back pressure code.. Any help will be super appreciated..

check your fuel pressure, and exactly what code was the ebp code?

Zero codes at present. Also engine shuts off like ignition was shut down. No spitting or sputtering. When restarted lots of smoke through exhaust then clears up. Are there any other sensors related to the cps that could have been effected when old cps went bad? This all happened at the same exact time.
