if the EBPV is some how sticking closed, then you would lose power. just disconnect it, that will cause it to stay open.

problem solved?????accelaration problem

ok everybody i think i got it at least i pray so there is a 3amp fuse in the fuse box named accelarator position switch the fuse was good so i put it out of my mind as possable culprits this time it was dark when i pulled the fuse and for some reason i looked at the socket and noticed the prongs were wide open there by causing a intermitten contact causing the truck to go back to idle when ever the switch lost power lets all pray that this problem is solved i've noticed that there were several postings with similer problems i hope this helps them as well
