Help, Engine died
97 Ford E350 7.3L diesel
I recently had a few fuel lines off to install an aftermarket fuel system (veg oil). Everything was all hooked up, took it out for a test drive on diesel to warm it up and cycle the coolant. After about 5-10 minutes it died, no sputtering, just died. I got it back to the shop and checked for air in the fuel system and checked for air leaks. It seems that the gasket on the fuel bowl may not have been seated properly. Now everything is hooked back up and it will crank great but not fire at all. Glow plug light also will not come on. Any suggestions on where to go next?? Thanks Last edited by willjayc; 03-26-2009 at 12:58 PM. Reason: editing to clarify post |
